MIAMI Kodai Senga is scheduled to pitch against the Rochester Red Wings on Saturday and then may face the Atlanta Braves next weekend. The Japanese right-hander is slated to throw 80-85 pitches for Triple-A Syracuse in a rehab start, after which Mets officials will gauge whether hes ready for his 2024 major league debut. Senga has been pitching every sixth day, which would align him for Friday night at Citi Field against the Raimel Tapia Jersey Braves.
