This has led to a parallel trend in the development of user-friendly software interfaces and training programs that lower the barrier to entry for non-modeling experts, such as clinical pharmacologists and toxicologists, enabling them to leverage simulation tools directly within their workflows. Furthermore, the application scope is trending towards novel therapeutic modalities, including cell and gene therapies, where biosimulation is vital for understanding cell kinetics, vector biodistribution, and long-term therapeutic effects, areas that are extremely difficult and costly to study in vivo. These combined technological, operational, and application trends underscore the industry's commitment to using computational methods as a standard operating procedure for de-risking and accelerating complex, modern therapeutic pipelines.
