U4GM Forza Horizon 6 Tips: Find 9 Treasure Cars

Treasure Cars are some of the easiest rewards to miss in Forza Horizon 6, mostly because the game doesn't shove them in your face. You won't find them sitting in the Autoshow, and you can't simply buy them after earning enough cash. They're tucked away across Japan, waiting for you to roll close enough to trigger Mei's rumor call. If you're building out your garage and comparing rare FH6 Cars, these nine hidden vehicles are worth chasing early, since each one is free, exclusive, and ready to collect once you find it.

How the hidden car system works

Treasure Cars are separate from Barn Finds, and that catches a lot of players out. There's no long restoration timer, no big search circle that slowly narrows down, and no need to reach a certain exploration rank first. You just need to drive near the right spot. Once you're close, Mei gives you a hint and the car gets added to your Treasure Cars list. Drone mode helps a lot here, especially in wooded hills, tight city blocks, and snowy roads where a parked car can blend into the scenery far too easily.

All nine Treasure Cars and where to look

The 1991 Nissan Figaro is found on Tokyo City's southern coast, near the shoreline east of the western bridge that leads toward the Drift Club island. In Minamino, the 1969 Dodge Charger R/T sits behind the 365 store by the golf course entrance. The 1985 Mazda RX-7 GSL-SE is over in Ohtani, near the tower cluster with three red towers, one large white tower, and a small wooden house. For the 1985 Nissan Safari Turbo, head into northeast Ito, climb toward the wind farm, and check around the turbine base near the dirt route.

Mountain roads, rails, and coastal corners

The 1987 Porsche 959 is parked outside the 365 convenience store in Narai-Juku, north of Shimanoyama Stadium, so it's one of the cleaner finds once you know the town. The 2005 Ford GT is trickier. Go to far southeast Nangan and watch for a narrow coastal trail near a yellow roadside sign; follow it toward the overlook. The 1981 BMW M1 uses Hokubu's railway as its best clue, sitting near open farmland close to the Takashiro border. In Takashiro, the 1995 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution III GSR waits by the waterfall stream beyond the torii gate and temple road. The 1974 Lancia Stratos HF Stradale is up in snowy Sotoyama, beside a lodge on the Tateyama Alpine pass.

What you get for collecting the set

Getting all nine Treasure Cars gives you more than a few nice screenshots. You add every hidden vehicle to your garage, unlock a platform achievement, earn a special player card emblem, and mark the full Treasure Car set as complete. The bigger win, though, is access. These cars aren't normal purchases, so missing them means missing part of the game's rarest garage content. If you're also tuning, upgrading, or planning bigger builds, it can help to buy Forza Horizon 6 Credits while using Treasure Cars as a free way to boost your collection across Japan.
